We are involved with all the flying companies and operators on this site, either as pilots or operations staff. We demand that they conform to the most stringent safety regulations often over and above those laid down by the Civil Aviation Authority. Rest assured that all the pilots are professional pilots and Instructors, with all the appropriate qualifications and experience levels.

Supermarine Spitfire Flights

There are only a couple of two seat Supermarine Spitfires in the UK currently. However none of these hold a Civil Aviation Authority Public Transport Certificate of Airworthiness (C of A) or equivalent EASA C of A.

All Spitfires are maintained on what is know as a Permit to Fly and this means that it is illegal to sell Spitfire Flight Experiences in the UK.

The nearest thing is a Harvard Warbird Flight. Our Harvard is still used to train today's generation of display pilots before they step into a Spitfire, Hurricane, Mustang and many other single seat warbirds.
